As individuals progress in recovery, they’re able to return to everyday activities while working through an intensive outpatient treatment program (IOP). Intensive outpatient is not a live-in, long-term residential treatment but allows the person to live in the community while receiving help. When appropriate, some can enter treatment through the intensive outpatient program, as it is also effective for helping those in the early stages of chemical dependency. Programs are designed to meet the needs of individual clients and to work with family and professional schedules; meeting for 3 hours, 3 days a week for roughly 8 weeks. MFI Recovery Center’s intensive outpatient is a CARF accredited, non-profit corporation with a long history of successful client outcomes for men, women, and adolescents. Don’t hesitate to take the first step and call today, it is possible to change and live a life free of substance abuse and addiction.
The Matrix Model Intensive Outpatient Program
A core set of services are essential to intensive outpatient treatment and are personally tailored to individual clients when making the decision to reach out to MFI’s Recovery Center. Our rehabilitation center utilizes the most current science and evidenced based approaches including The Matrix Model of therapy. Drawing on several research based methods, The Matrix Model blends modalities into an extremely strong system of recovery. This includes both individual and group therapy activities, as well as family counseling and support. Rebuilding connections with family, friends and professional relationships is one of the most essential practices for sustained substance abuse recovery. This requires continued support through cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems techniques and parenting classes when needed. For the family of someone who has been abusing substances or struggling with addiction, there will be a process of reestablishing trust and mutual respect. If you are concerned about someone’s drinking or drug use, it’s important to get help. It’s almost impossible for someone who is struggling with substance abuse to recover alone, and MFI Recovery Center’s intensive outpatient program is dedicated to helping individuals and families heal and restore meaningful relationships and goals.
