Drug Treatment ProgramMFI Recovery Center has had impressive results through its drug treatment programs. Understanding the complicated nature of drug addiction and chemical dependency problems is one of the first steps out of denial and into a willing place where recovery can begin Drug treatment programs that solely rely on “their” method may be extremely effective for a few, but for the vast majority a more customized, individual treatment plan is required. Each person that comes seeking help is very different from the next. Problems with family life, social issues, and workplace problems will differ for each individual and at MFI we have the necessary services to aid individuals on their selected plan of recovery. Before anyone is admitted into our drug treatment program, a thorough assessment of the individual’s issues is taken into account. An honest assessment on the part of the individual with the help of a counselor or medical professional that knows the right questions to ask is one of the most important parts of the treatment process because it will affect every step and treatment choice that is taken thereafter. Treatment that addresses the underlying issues of addiction and not just the drug or alcohol use itself has continued to be the most effective type of overall treatment available. As an individual continues to grow and change while in treatment, the scope of treatment must also adapt to the person’s growth. Often times, substance abuse can occur with the presence of mental health issues or problems from the past that have not been dealt with. Getting a grasp of the severity of these underlying issues is a large factor in the success of any drug treatment program and at MFI we make it a point to discover this information in a safe, compassionate manner. We take considerable time in our assessment process determining which substance abuse counselor is right for each person and the course of treatment that will be the most rewarding.
