Detoxification

Ambulatory detox is provided to MFI client by referral to partner medical groups who specialize in modern detoxification methods. Use of Suboxone, Vivitrol, and variety of medicines for alcohol use are among the array of medicines our partner physicians may choose from in order to minimize discomfort and maximize safety. MFI is not an acute medical facility and some clients will need to receive services from a medical facility to ensure proper care and safety. For those clients who do not need acute medical care, you and the doctor will decide the best configuration of medications for your health and MFI will help you monitor your self-administration of the medications to ensure compliance with the doctor’s recommendations for you. This process ensures you receive an independent and personalized physician’s health assessment, a recommended regimen of medications and clear explanation of the medications purpose. MFI ensures there is a seamless referral to an independent physician that your health and safety are properly assessed by the physician, and the best course of medication is recommended by the physician. MFI provides an environment where prescribed medications can be taken as directed by the physician.
